During my latest dabblings in Linux — the OS which continues to taunt and thwart me — I was concentrating on Red Hat, since it was a well-known name and a name I thought I could trust. I guess I was wrong. According to Slashdot<\/a>, Red Hat will “discontinue maintenance” on all existing versions (by April 2004) and do not plan on offering any more upgrades.
