The news has been well covered over the last few hours, but here are a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clickz.com\/news\/article.php\/3324081\">couple<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.co.uk\/newsArticle.jhtml;jsessionid=JUBGZRYKZQCTQCRBAE0CFEY?type=internetNews&#038;storyID=4540503\u00a7ion=news\">links<\/a> to the better articles. This is probably the one time I&#8217;m rooting for AOL and Microsoft to win in court.<br><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wastinaway.net\/shortfatguy\/images\/foodbug.gif?resize=65%2C20&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"65\" height=\"20\">&nbsp; &nbsp; <b>Food, Folks, &#038; Whatever the Hell Else We Feel Like<\/b>: Meanwhile, I&#8217;m skeptical about the concurrent news of a ban on obesity lawsuits <a href=\"http:\/\/apnews.myway.com\/article\/20040310\/D817M4LO0.html\">being debated<\/a> in the U.S. House.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &#8220;Fast-food franchises and mom-and-pop restaurants,&#8221; reads this AP article, &#8221;shouldn&#8217;t take the blame [\u2026] when Americans make the choice to eat badly and not exercise, House Republicans said. &#8216;Americans are eating themselves to death and looking for someone to blame,&#8217; said Rep. David Dreier of California.&#8221; This is true, but most obesity claims have been dismissed, which would suggest there is no need for this ban. I agree with Rep.
