This year marks the 75th<\/sup> birthday of Dearborn MI and the 25th<\/sup> anniversary of the city’s Homecoming festival. Plus it was another chance to eat shish tawook, watch my friends’ kids on carnival rides, and drink beer in a field. Remakably, there was no bocce this year. The celebration was almost tainted by controversy<\/a>, due to problems with one of the headliner’s, Charlie Daniels’, songs, but it was not in evidence on the night itself.
