    Woo!  Here we go.  Take a magical journey with me!
    My parents dropped Mr Heels and me at the front gate at about 8:30.  Gates were due to open at 9 and the shindig was to go live at 11 AM.<\/i><\/div>

This is where we got in the line up.  Way down the street and around the corner.  Eventually the line-up spanned all the way to underneath the 400 overpass.<\/i>

These were the guys we were hanging out in line with.  Cool folks.<\/i>

    During the line compression, close to the gate we were hanging around a new bunch.  I didn’t get a pic of them but they got a pic of me.  \u201cHey Pink-Haired-Lady, can we get a picture with you.\u201d  I should have got them to email it to me.  There was also some guy that fondled my hair in the line up to the bathrooms.  The hair was pretty popular in general.
    Oh, we also had $4 hotdogs for breakfast.  Thank god we packed a good lunch and brought lots of water.<\/i><\/div>

    Throughout the day when the stage crew were swapping equipment, they would keep cutting to stuff that was going on elsewhere.<\/i><\/div>

    We had moved in from the sidelines at this point and parked ourselves infront of an ice cream cart.  It was a good spot because we could steal some shade from the umbrellas; but as the place got more packed and people wanted to get to the ice cream, we became relay people, passing money and popsicles back and forth

    I took a pic of the ice cream girl and guy \u2019cause they were really cool, but it didn’t actually take.  Neither did the pic of the couple that sat next to us.  At first they were sporting big umbrella hats and a large Canadian flag.<\/i><\/div>

I wasn’t sure how my stage pics were going to turn out so I took some screen pics too<\/i><\/center>
    Next was Bryan Adams.  He had a lot of great things to say.  His set got paused halfway through so that we could watch Wil Smith and do the whole \u2018Shout out to everyone around the world\u2019 kinda thing.
    We were joking about it with they guys next to us because all the other crowds seemed so large and we knew we were the smallest crowd outta the lot.  We all tried to puff up and look \u2018big\u2019 and shouted out asses off when it was time for our introduction.<\/i><\/div>

    At the end of his last song he broke into a bit of Tears Are Not Enough, which was the Canadian tune he wrote for the original Live Aid crusade.<\/i><\/div>

Next was Sam Roberts.  I really need to buy this guy’s CD.  He’s great.<\/i>
