Can’t let the day pass without noting it’s been one year<\/a> since I ditched Windows and switched to Mac. Coincidentally, two days ago, I broke my G5’s uptime record. Previously it was 16 days of continual uninterrupted use. Sure, there are some who claim months of uptime, but they count the time their computer has been powered on; I count it from last reboot\u2026mainly because that’s how my uptime widget<\/a> counts it. On Saturday my G5 attained its personal best of 24½ days (and I only stopped the count because I needed to reboot after installing an update for Little Snitch<\/a>).
