I finally got a chance to see Air Margaritaville this weekend. They were playing at the Homecoming city festival in Dearborn MI. I have to confess my interest in Buffett has been waning these last couple years (especially after the last couple concert debacles) and I was thinking of skipping their show just on principle. I checked them out anyway, and danged if I didn’t end up singing along and enjoying it all. Maybe Air Margaritaville renewed my faith! And it probably didn’t hurt that there weren’t a zillion beach balls in the air and a bunch of dancers on stage to distract me from the songs.
