I spoke with the Clerk’s office this morning and was told that my proposal was deemed unacceptable. I am positive I submitted it within the time frame, but apparently there was a “problem with gravy stains”. Therefore, I was ineligible to run for office as a Short Fat candidate. I suppose this is just as well, since I never bothered to make any signs. I guess there’s always next year. This will give me more time to firm up my platform to include more than just insuring the local Kroger continues to stock Jalapeño Krunchers.
