I&#8217;ve had an uncommon amount of days off this week, so much that I seem to have gotten lost in them. The days have flitted by so fast I can barely register what day it is. The calendar says it&#8217;s Saturday, and it doesn&#8217;t help that it feels like Monday for some reason (I&#8217;m not sure why it does, either, since for instance I&#8217;m not at work). We&#8217;re near the end of the year though, I&#8217;m certain, so, like all major publications it&#8217;s time to waste space on a list of the Best of 2002. Here are some of the short fat highlights I remember:<ul><li><u>January 29<\/u>: Taco Bell launches the steak quesadilla.<\/li><li><u>February 3<\/u>: Mike hosts Super Bowl party with plenty of snacks and appetizers.<\/li><li><u>June 18<\/u>: Taco Bell&#8217;s Border Bowl line is unveiled.<\/li><li><u>August 2<\/u>: KFC celebrates 50<sup>th<\/sup> birthday.<\/li><li><u>September 1<\/u>: A big steak cookout for Labor Day.<\/li><li><u>September 5<\/u>: New Cheese Extreme Quesadilla sold at Taco Bell.<\/li><li><u>December 24<\/u>: Had a really tasty chicken parmigiana meal at Olive Garden.<\/li><li><u>December 25<\/u>: Christmas dinner was really very good this year.<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; I can&#8217;t believe how quickly the holiday week has flown by.
