Episode 232: A Big Fat Recognizable Guy

Show Notes:
Recorded Tuesday, July 21 2020 (7:15 – 9:15 PM)
“Mike, Schmoe, and Mickey discuss Jimmy Buffett’s latest interview appearances, talk about what they’ve been watching, and Mickey performs a long-distance magic trick.”

Mickey was in too much of a hurry to upload this episode. The webcam windows were misframed and there were also typos in the captions. The video file has since been revised, corrected, and uploaded.
Moments after adding that note I discovered the second version had a problem too. The project’s timeline had shifted somehow, adding fifteen seconds of black to the beginning.
A third version has been uploaded, and is viewable below.

Episode 227: Bonus Clip

Note: In our haste to finish Thursday’s episode, one sequence got left on the proverbial cutting room floor. Listener Michael P. pointed out we’d forgotten something in Episode 226, and we repay the favor by forgetting to include it in Episode 227…
     <sigh>

Episode 226: Schmobo Caller

Show Notes:
Recorded Thursday, May 7 2020 (7:30 – 10:00 PM)
“Mickey shows off his collection of Buffett tour hats and Mike does tech support for Schmoe’s crappy internet.”

Mike says “Roger de Clyne” (at 8:16) under the impression he’d said it earlier (in a comment that did not make then final cut). But upon closer inspection, Mike did not say it. Schmoe thought it was said, due to his crappy internet.
We talked about Jimmy being on the Today show, but he also appeared on The View.
Schmoe did a speed test and reported speeds of a paltry 1-3 Mbps. Mickey was getting 26-27 Mbps. And Mike astounded us all with 358.2 Mbps!

Recorded Thursday, April 30 2020 (7:00 – 9:15 PM)
“The gang is back with another show-and-tell.”

We recorded for two hours fifteen minutes this time, but fortunately for you a lot of that was edited out. Among the cuts was what we’re bingeing. Schmoe watched HBO’s The Plot Against America, Mickey finished the BBC’s Line of Duty, and Mike recommends Extraction.

Episode 224: Classy, Sexy, Artsy

Show Notes:
Recorded Thursday, April 23 2020 (6:15 – 8:00 PM)
“A fourcast and show-and-tell, with Mike, Mickey, Schmoe, and Hud.”

Three weeks in a row, guys! Can you believe it?
In this episode we go through our quarantine songs, Mickey displays his old Caribbean Soul t-shirts, and Schmoe fails basic math.

The show-and-tell segment really needs to be seen, but an audio version is provided nonetheless…
