A Sheep in Wolf’s Clothing

I can’t resist posting this one. It’s just too funny. “Paris fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier got the last laugh [Saturday],” reports the Toronto Star. Behold the latest in protestor fashion. During a show, a PeTA protestor stormed onto the runway, but security guards were able to restrain him by using nothing less than a fur coat!
“It was absolutely brilliant and the audience roared with laughter and applause,” reports Australian website SMH.com.au. “Even those of us not thrilled by real fur had to join in.”
It’s possible though that this amusing turn of events might have been staged. A Danish photographer with the strangely appropriate name of Helle Moos suggests the designer might have been alerted ahead of time about the protest or that the protestor might have been allowed to enter. One wonders if the protestor might even have been a plant — just to trick bloggers into posting this entry!
