With the sanctity of our precious French fry being assailed, it’s good to see people rally behind another fried snack food. The Giant Cheeto is in the news again, having reached its permanent destination in Iowa. The SFG site salutes the citizens of Algona, joins in celebrating March 13 as “Giant Cheeto Day”, and wishes them the best as they unveil the Giant Cheeto tonight at Sister Sarah’s Restaurant. It is indeed fitting that tribute and obeisance be paid, in honor and laud, to the Giant Cheeto. (But that’s another story.)In the spirit of a Cheetoan blessing, may your fingers be ever orange!
