Just got the e-mail from ATI saying my video card is being sent. This means I just have to find a monitor I like as well as officially buy my Pentium 4 processor, and then I’ll be done.I still want to get some SATA drives later, but at least with that other stuff I’ll be able to actually power up my badboy pimp rig!
ooh, go flat screen or flat panel.
I had a flat screen viewsonic and the clarity and lack of edge distortion due to a lack of curvature just rawked.
If I were to do it agian, I’d get a smaller dot pitch tho… .26 used to be good, but there was some clarity on the edge that was more noticable with a flat screen vs a normal monitor.
Being able to push the viewable screen almost to the edge was great, especially for playing games like bzflag and Tribes… 😀

Yes, I’ll be getting a flat panel — if only because my desk has never been deep enough for both a CRT and a keyboard.
At last I will be able to look straight at my monitor instead of at an angle!
