The Folding of Crêpe Paper Flowers has Begun

A lot of my daily reads are already discussing plans for the upcoming Blogathon. It’s still two weeks away, but it’s already kind of exciting — especially since it seems so many sites are involved.
A lot of folks are wondering what kind of “theme” to maintain during the 24-hours of blogging. Several people are taking reader requests, someone else will be reviewing a day’s worth of movies, others will be writing short stories or poems. I was thinking of perhaps giving my new computer its maiden run that day, but I doubt I can wait till then. Or maybe uploading webcam shots of myself eating a Banquet Salisbury steak frozen dinner every half hour. (But, really, that’s no big deal since I do that every Saturday.)
No matter what I come up with and how delirious I might end up, I hope you can find time to visit the site on the 26th.
And I hope you can find time to check out the work my chosen charity is doing. The Electronic Frontier Foundation has its virtual hands full defending file sharing, e-mail privacy, digital video recording, and even printer cartridge refills. So whether you do it by sponsoring me (which, what do you know!, you can do with this link) or on your own, I hope you can help them out with a donation or your support.
Archivist’s Note: I think the title refers to beginning the decorations for a homecoming or prom?
