I knew it. The ancient box that supposedly held the remains of “James, the Brother of Jesus” has been
determined to be a forgery. I predicted it as soon as I first heard about it — not because I might believe Jesus was an only child, but because of the ridiculous story around its discovery. The guy said he found it in someone else’s collection. So why wasn’t there all this hoopla from the
first owner? Now the box can join the Shroud of Turin and the mummified remains of Pat Robertson in the PT Barnum collection of religious scams.
Speaking of the Shroud of Turin, I knew that was a fake too, even as a child. The evidence is right in the Bible (one of which, despite being so often online, I have handy):
John, 20:7.
