All Hail Ken Crane’s and DVD Planet. Because of them I have two copies of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers already in hand. (The widescreen and fullscreen releases, of course, so I can have the best of both worlds.)The early arrival, five days before the release date, is simply because I pre-ordered them, but I’d like to think they’re “advance copies” since that makes me feel like some Hollywood Insider. Of course the first thing I did was watch the sneak preview of The Return of the King:
Gandalf and Shadowfax, and Pippin I presume, approach Minas Tirith
P.S. My annual fullscreen/widescreen comparison will have to wait, unfortunately, until I get my video card fixed. (It was tough enough just getting the above freeze-frame.) Until then, happy viewing.
