And Then There Were Ten

I was impressed with General Wesley Clark’s appearance on last week’s Real Time with Bill Maher. Since Clark announced his candidacy on Tuesday, I’ve been trying to read more about him. All of this is simply prelude to my saying I particularly enjoyed these two sentences in the Sydney Morning Herald‘s article:
“But he also earned a reputation in the military as someone who did not suffer fools gladly. His critics say he will find the transition to politics very difficult.
Update: I just read Clark’s announcement speech. He actually said “for my family and me”!!! Can you believe it? Hell, that alone is almost enough to get my vote.
If he also knows how to spell “led” and says “there are” instead of “there’s” then I will worship him as a God.
