Getting in the mood for Halloween, I watched the Evil Dead II DVD with commentary. During the commentary they started imitating Charlton Heston and I realized how great it would’ve been to have both Heston and Bruce Campbell in the same movie, hamming it up and chewing the scenery. They could even throw William Shatner in for good measure.As Count Floyd would say, “Ooo!…That’s scaaa-ry!”
Actually I’m not a big fan of scary movies, but the ones I prefer are more eerie than gory. Stuff like Dead of Night, or The Changeling, or The Wicker Man. Probably what still scares me the most is The Exorcist.
Either that or Jake Lloyd’s acting in Phantom Menace.
