It’s 24 Day. Two more episodes to go in Season 3, including tonight’s hour. The last several episodes have been so gripping, so nailbitingly good that I’m already eager to see them again on DVD, the same way I first experienced Seasons 1 & 2.The release date for the UK box set is July 26. I’ve seen this posted on various sites so I assume it’s a lock. Extras appear to be similar to the Season 2 box set: commentaries and branched deleted scenes. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything nearly as definite for the US release. September 14 has been mentioned, and this seems a strong possibility since the first two seasons were released in September; but as yet TCFHE has not made an official announcement. Keep an eye on this page as things develop.
Speaking of changes, rumor has it “24” might be moved to Mondays. There’s also talk its season premiere might be delayed until January, which will at least allow a new episode to air every week without a break or without reruns.
