The Alan Parsons website, The Avenue, has at last announced the title and release date for a new album. A Valid Path will be released this August, from 5.1 Entertainment (a group known for its 5.1 remixes and DVD-Audio releases). Parsons is eschewing his usual collaborators and concentrating on an album of electronica. This should be pretty cool since I’ve always liked his instrumental tracks.
While I save up money to buy the new Alan Parsons CD, here’s something free for me to watch (again). Check out the cast of The Sopranos together on one stage, as they read off a Top Ten list on Late Show with David Letterman.
