I was out taking some photos of storm clouds last week and my digital camera’s battery ran out. I couldn’t find my power adapter anywhere, with which to recharge the Canon’s battery. I searched all over the house but could not find it. I wondered if I might have left it at my brother’s house, from when I’d been taking pictures at my niece’s graduation party. I called him up and he said he’d look for it for me; but the fact he hadn’t spotted it already seemed to suggest it wasn’t there.
With Father’s Day coming up I’d need to do something quick. I couldn’t just buy another battery since that would only be a temporary solution — I’d be right back where I was in a few days. So I swallowed my pride and ordered another Canon CA-560 power adapter. The damned thing cost me ninety bucks too! Plus I spent twenty bucks on 2nd Day Air shipping to insure it would show up before the weekend.
I fully expect to find the adapter soon after the new one arrives. However, I didn’t know what else to do to insure I’d be able to use my digital camera again.
I’m such a loser.
