A Whopper for Breakfast

    I’m working nights again so I haven’t been able to blog the debates. I’ve only caught bits live, and have had to watch the rest on tape. I was driving home, listening on the radio, when I heard Dick Cheney take this shot at John Edwards’ Senate record. “Now, in my capacity as vice president, I am the president of Senate, the presiding officer. I’m up in the Senate most Tuesdays when they’re in session. The first time I ever met you was when you walked on the stage tonight.”
    Ouch. Zing. Pwned. Then again, I was thinking, Cheney is the boss of the Senate and only drops by once a week? Further, how much of a chance did Edwards have to bump into the VP with Cheney being carted from undisclosed location to undisclosed location? But Atrios has an even better response…
