This entry marks the end of the last SQL backup on pMachine. Although pMachine will continue to be used, all subsequent entries are copied from an Expression Engine backup, being the successor to pMachine.
There’s no simple way to transfer a pMachine or Expression Engine blog to WordPress; instead, this current incarnation has been recreated one entry at a time, copy-and-pasting from an SQL file into this blog. The process is time consuming but at least allows a second look at each entry, and a way to correct spelling errors and upgrade audio and video files. Internal links have been corrected but, sadly, most of the links pointing outward are now aimed at non-existent sites.
The reconstruction was impulsively begun on Saturday, May 15 2021. And, despite the time stamp of this entry, we’ve surpassed entry #935 on Friday, June 4 2021. As noted above, although the next entries come from an Expression Engine backup file, the actual upgrade to EE will not take place for a few months…
