
This might not be a big deal for a lot of car owners out there, but it’s new to me. Tonight, for the first time, I got to watch my odometer roll over from 099999 to 100000. Usually such an impending milestone is my cue it’s time to get a new car; but, things as they are, I’m needing to hang on to my Saturn for longer than anticipated, which means I got to witness the event myself. I brought my camera with me to work so I could capture the ceremony; and since I also didn’t want to cause any accidents I actually drove in circles around the parking lot, after my shift, for the necessary eight miles.
