We left for Chicago yesterday morning and returned this afternoon, for another pilgrimage to see U2. It was a great show as always, but I’m still of a mind that their best tours are the stripped down ones, like the Elevation tour, rather than this current one — which, like Pop Mart, threatens to dwarf or diminish the band with its huge, distracting, yet admittedly impressive stage. My photos are available here [originally at dot-Mac gallery, then dot-Me gallery, and since moved to an album on Flickr and here’s a collection of clips off my Cyber-shot camera.
