Happy Homecoming!

    This year marks the 75^th birthday of Dearborn MI and the 25^th anniversary of the city’s Homecoming festival. Plus it was another chance to eat shish tawook, watch my friends’ kids on carnival rides, and drink beer in a field. Remakably, there was no bocce this year. The celebration was almost tainted by controversy, due to problems with one of the headliner’s, Charlie Daniels’, songs, but it was not in evidence on the night itself.
