1999 was a pretty good year for theater in Detroit. Along with the usual and inexorable return of Cats and Les Miz, we were treated to the local premieres of at least three award-winning Broadway productions. One of which was Frank Wildhorn’s Jekyll & Hyde, which played at the Fisher Theater.Here are two excerpts from this production, recorded Tuesday, May 4 1999, and starring Chuck Wagner, Sharon Brown, and Andrea Rivette.
