Diet Blog: Day Twenty-Six

    It’s getting tougher to stay on this So. Central Rain diet. I’ve even started cheating. That is to say, I’m sneaking an extra cheese stick on occasion, or maybe having a larger portion than I should. I have not “fallen off the wagon” and pigged out at some all-you-can-eat food bar…yet. I really thought Phase Two would be even easier, since the menu is not as rigid as Phase One; but I seem to be craving my old favorite foods even more. I’m so sick of tomatoes and zucchini and lettuce that I’m dying for a bag of chips just to break up the monotony! And with Super Bowl Sunday coming, I have a strong feeling that I will be giving in to temptation and reveling in self-indulgence. But then I’m already planning on going back to Phase One, so I can lose it all off again, and hopefully much more.
    As far as I my stats go, I’m doing better than last week. I weighed myself again this morning and am just under 224 pounds, which means I’ve lost over 2½ pounds since last Thursday and over 14½ pounds overall. And that calls for a happy dance…
