The World Traveler has Returned

    Joe is back home again. He left Ecuador at seven this morning, with a lengthy stop at Miami. His American Airlines flight touched down at 10:13 tonight, and I brought my camcorder with me when we picked him up at the airport…    Featured are Rick and Debby (Joe’s parents), Jake (Joe’s younger brother), and Pete (Joe’s friend, whose own international studies course was in Turkey). We started waiting at the concourse but as the passengers began arriving, we took a chance and went down to the luggage claim instead…which was where we spotted Joe. Joe’s decision not to get a haircut during his months away prompted the reference to his “hairdo”.
