Happy Birthday to Me. 
My imaginary friends and I have quite the party planned, since today’s birthday is a momentous one. One of those milestone birthdays. I know I exude such a youthful persona and am so down with the hepness of the Internizzet, but in fact I am despairingly old — old enough to remember that seemingly mythical time before cable TV and microwaves.
So let’s see what the year has in store for me. Frustratingly, the birthday horoscope in today’s paper is for November 10 — and yesterday’s is for November 8! However, a quick search online shows that the NY Post birthday horoscope reads:
With the sun at odds with Jupiter on your birthday, you have the potential to accomplish some really great things this year — but there’s also the risk that you’ll be tempted to gamble everything and that you’ll lose all you have. I got the new U2 CD Best Of 1990-2000 yesterday. I already have all the albums and B-sides, so I mainly got this to fill out my collection. At least it has some new mixes and two new songs. And, after listening to it, I was rather disappointed.
That great day has come again; the day that makes you proud to be an American. No, not Super Bowl Sunday. It’s Election Day! The day when you get to have your say, when your voice matters, and your vote counts*!

I had the opportunity to try some items on Burger King’s new menu. First up, the Chicken Whopper (no, I did not “cluck” to get my sandwich).
