From the Depths of “My Documents” V

This one is much more recent than the others. It’s from last week.
From SF Gate.com: “Pelusa, a 14-year-old female polar bear, looks through the bars of her cage at Mendoza’s Zoo in Argentina. Pelusa, normally white, turned violet after veterinarians administered a drug to treat a skin infection. She should turn to her normal color within a month.”

Soon to have her own childen’s show — save for the almost Kubrickian, “I’ll kill whomever did this to me!” glower

The Eighth of My Pointless Close-Up Photos

The old making way for the new

Yes, I’ve been drinking water instead of something caffeinated. What can I say? I like water.
I get the uneasy feeling the photo cheapens my site and looks like product placement.
    And here’s a bonus picture.

Another self-portrait

Dig the cool shirt. But he still looks deranged.
You know, I could’ve saved this photo for its own entry in the future. But no, I had to post it now, since the clock behind me quite clearly says “5:55”. But with the photo shrunk so much, you can’t see the clock at all! Sheesh.

Around the Webring

One of the unexpected benefits of this here Blogathon is being exposed to so many other people’s sites. I’m greatly enjoying not only reading how others are spending their time but simply getting a look at the sites’ layouts and looks. It’s been a lot of fun and I’m filling up a “Blog” folder of bookmarked URLs I’ll certainly be checking out after these festivities are over.
One thing bugs me though. There are some sites whose layout involves changing the look of my cursor. I really don’t like that. Stop making it do that.

Light at the End of the Tunnel…So I’m Told

Of the Blogathon there’s not much more.
The hours that remain are just four.
It’s the end of the night,
Just a few things to write,
So why am I compelled to just — ZZZZZZZZZ!
Sunrise is at 5:19 AM today, I believe. Though I think that website is wrong.

Baby Ink?!?!

Surely this has to be some sign of the Apocalypse, right? It’s pillar of salt time, yes? I echo Zaldor‘s bewildered cry of “This is not right!”
Update: Okay, it’s a radio station hoax. …But the world’s still going to hell, nevertheless.
Hey, I did a Trackback on this one!

Long Dark Night of the Soul

This is my first Blogathon but I bet this is the hard part. The quiet hours. When everyone else is asleep. This is probably when a number of Blogathoners might finally give up and succumb to the welcome embrace of their waiting beds.
    The dead of night.
Speaking of which, I heard recently that Dead of Night was released on DVD by Anchor Bay Entertainment. They’ve paired it with a movie called The Queen of Spades, of which I know nothing. Dead of Night however is an exceptionally creepy movie and I recommend it most highly.
