A Belated Apology

Now that I’ve started posting older images as well as new photos, my site has become extremely graphic heavy. I’d like to apologize to those of you on dial-up who might be waiting a long time for all the images to show up. I hope it doesn’t try your patience and I hope you might find it worth the wait.

Snack Break!
Yeah, those are some bizarre looking Peanut M&Ms. There’s nothing wrong with them, they’re the new “Groovy” pseudo-psychedelic M&Ms.

From the Depths of “My Documents”

In this entry I begin posting stuff that’s been sitting around on my hard drive. Don’t know where I got it, but for some reason I’m keeping it. Here’s Image #1:

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

The Rise and Fall of Vanilla Coke

I just read that Michael at Livin-Nappy has vowed to drink a Vanilla Coke with every entry for the Blogathon. He writes: “This all started with a challenge from my family members when I said ‘Man I love this stuff so much I could drink it all day!’ Little did I know that they would put me up to the challenge.”
No sooner had I read that when I saw Posted in Blogathon, Food, Links, News | Leave a comment

Entry 25: Halfway

Staying up doesn’t worry me: it’s coming up with stuff to say. I really don’t want this to degenerate into navel-gazing or dull and meaningless posts [shut up you!], but I’m afraid that might be inevitable.
    Oh well.
It was pointless for him now to fight it:
Inspiration was gone; hope benighted.
    He had started out strong
but it was soon to go wrong
for his writing had started to bite it.

At Last: Big Spoiler DVD News!

AICN has some great news about the upcoming Extended Edition of The Two Towers on DVD. The FOTR Extended Edition assuaged a lot of the problems I had with the first movie, and it looks like this release will do the same. A lot of the scenes I missed — Sam and Frodo scaling the cliff with the Elven rope, the Ent Draught, the huorns [—YES!], Faramir sighting his slain brother, and even Merry and Pippin ransacking the Isengard larders [quite unexpected] — are reportedly reinstated.
    Most excellent news!
November 18 cannot come fast enough. (That said, neither, of course, can December 17.)
Also, some other interesting news I gleaned recently is that Howard Shore will be recording the Return of the King score in August. It will include more of a male choir sound than the first two scores.

Creepy radioactive Taco Bell ice

Achieved by shining a blue “laser” light under the cup. This came out better than expected, and I’m going to add it to my Gallery too.
